Radical Dads are Brooklyn based trio whose second album was just released last May 21, 2013 but we are not going to look at the new album today, what we have right now is their 2011 limited edition release of Skateboard Bulldog on 7" Black Vinyl. Both songs on this track came out on the first album "Mega Rama"
The packaging was simple, the album cover was a gatefold-type with white paper inner sleeves and the album art cover was a straightforward bulldog riding on a skateboard which represents the first track. The back cover has the track list and the credits. The vinyl is very heavy! I don't know how much it weighs but to me this is the 180gram-equivalent on 7". The track names are written on the label of each sides.
Radical Dads sounds old school like the late 80's to mid 90's alternative indie punk rock music - power chords right off the intro and pure adrenaline semi-screaming vocal flowing through the steady drum beat with open high hats and crash all over - and yeah with ditzy-story-telling lyrics which completes the Skateboard Bulldog.
